The first thing I do when I'm down is to get some fresh air, to go where there is only nature, by a lake, a river, in the mountains, in the forest, etc. Then I take deep breaths, long and slow to properly oxygenate my brain. And the most important thing: I tell myself that when you're down, you can only go up, it's just a matter of time. My experience has proven it to me every time. You just have to be patient and let the time pass. I say to myself for example "Ok, don't worry, in 2 months this problem will be behind you and everything will be better". In general it works quite well for me.
